How Can We Help?

To edit a badge, you must be signed in to your Lares Tenant Account.

1. Press on the Badges button from the navigation menu.

2. Press on a badge from the badge slider at the top of the screen.

3. When you reach the Badge settings screen, you will be able to press on the following:

  • Update badge button – where you can update badge details
  • Branding button – where you can upload your own image to reflect your brand
  • Access type button – where you can select between one of the following types:
    • Virtual access – enables virtual access with a check in / check out with a swipe at the location
    • Outbound access – enables a scanner and the user must present the access data to the local reader (NFC, Camera, etc.) to gain access to the location
    • Inbound access – enables the use of a QR Code and the user has to scan it to gain access to the location
  • Biometry button – where you can select between one of the following types:
    • No biometry – access is validated without any biometric data
    • Fingerprint – the access code will be accessible only after you validate your identity through fingerprint scan
    • Face recognition – the access code will be accessible only after you validate your identity through face recognition
